A FASCINATING LOOK AT A MANNIQUIN
I've always been intrigued by mannequins. In fact, I love love mannequins. There is an obvious mystique about them maybe because they are anthropomorphic (human-like). I see a quiet strength in mannequins (obviously quiet) though, I'm not sure why since they are not real.
But for contemporary artist and sculptor, Charles Ray's mannequins they are anything but perplexing and could easily be mistaken (given the right light) for human! At least physically...

With simple shapes, the observer sees the importance of line.
